Here on this page there are high quality brands of dog food that you can buy. I feed and recommend Nutro Natural Choice and Eukanuba. Eukanuba has the ingredient DHA making a smarter more trainable puppy/adult. (I start weaning my puppies on eukanuba canned food because it has just the right consistancy for them and they go nuts over it. I occasionaly add Eukanuba to my older dogs diet as well but I mostly feed Nutro Natural Choice Note: I only feed Eukanuba canned because Eukanuba dry contains by-products). and Nutro is all natural with absoulutly no by-products (no heads, feet, or guts they use the same parts you feed your family). The choice of dog food you feed maybe more important than you think. It can effect your dogs' longevity, health, well being,..... I recommend using an all natural dog food without by-products. If I see by-products on the ingredients I will not feed it to my dogs. By-products mean feet, beaks, feathers, and so on and may contain contaminated, spoiled meat and/or chemicles. stay away from meat and bone meal, meat by-products, animal by-products, or animal fat may contain dead pets that have been euthanized from vet offices and pounds. They cook the dead pets together while still in the blue plastic body bags they got them in. Be aware of this in cat foods too. A long time ago when we were unaware of this and were giving Pedigree canned we found a couple of pieces of blue plastic bag and often found sharp bone chunks in the canned food as well.
