Training Courses available for puppiesThe following training courses are available to Von Riesig Rottweiler puppies & outside puppies as long as they have a health certificate issued by a Licensed veterinarian only, the puppy must also have his/her Shot record, rabies(if of age), & Distemper, and bordetella vacc.. I currently offer obedience and conformation training. If your dog is receiving conformation training I can show them at shows held in Arizona. As a rule we start an intro to basic obedience training starting at 4 weeks of age. It is only an intro because many owners like to train their puppy themself but the intro makes it very easy for the pup to learn commands. However if you do not want to train your own puppy you may want to take advantage of one or more of these training courses offered only to our puppy buyers. The puppy will stay at our home for the duration of his/her training time because training sessions are done several times a day and house manners are being learned 24/7. After your dog's stay with us I can show you how to become the pack leader of your new dog so that your dog respects you like he respects me. Obedience Training Basic Obedience Training starts at $15 per day plus boarding fees If you do not want to leave your dog with us you may take advantage of private lessons, I can also help in problem solving with certain behavioral issues. Private Lessons are generally $50 an hour Prey drive training, Building a Firm Grip, & Focus training start at $50 per day plus boarding fees if the puppy/dog is staying here. Private Lessons start at $50 an hour Prey Drive, a Firm Grip, & Focus are the foundation of Schutzhund & Protection work, if a dog doesn't learn prey drive or focus it will lack the confidence to proceed in this work. Level II 17 – 20 weeks of age $1,975 Sit, stay, down stay, come all off lead, no jumping on people, no jumping on doors, no bolting through the door, no begging for food during meals, no stealing food from counters, no chewing on furniture......
Young Adult Level I 6 months of age $2,975 Enhancing and expanding obedience through repetition and adding travel, learning rules of the car.
Young Adult Level II 7 months of age $3,800 Extension of Young Adult Level 1, repetition on obedience, home rules and good house manners, people meeting, and added travel.
Young Adult Level III 9 – 12 months of age $6,500 More repetition is added, distractive exercises, Command responses become more automated and subconscious with precision. Continuing travel training, people greeting, and unfamiliar and varied settings are also applied.
Note: Prices includes travel training time, in home training, and room and board, vet expenses for example vaccinations and check-ups. Dog Show Handling If your puppy is staying with us for training and conformation training and you wish for me to show your dog at shows located in Arizona I can help you. As long as your puppy is 6 months of age and AKC Registered I can show him/her at shows here in Arizona that you wish him/her to participate in. Standard Rates Additional Charges Grooming $10-$40
